Cadence landing page: rough meeting notes on the left, a structured draft with summary and action items on the right

What it does

Each direct report has one running thread. After a meeting you dictate or type what happened, and Cadence structures it into a summary, decisions and action items split by owner. Open items, talking points for next time and recurring topics stay threaded across every meeting, so preparing for the next 1-on-1 takes a minute instead of a search through old notes.

Principles

  • The AI writes a draft, never the record. Every structured note is reviewed and editable before it is saved. Changes the AI proposes to existing items can be rejected.
  • Personnel notes are sensitive data. Audio is transcribed and discarded immediately; it is never stored. Analytics carry IDs only, never names or note content.
  • Vendors stay behind interfaces. Transcription and AI extraction can be swapped without touching product logic.

How it is built

A NestJS API with PostgreSQL, a React front end, Whisper for transcription and Claude for structuring the notes. The interface is German-first with English available, and works on phones and desktop.
